Malacca!!

It was a impromptu trip with my parents. We had nothing to do after dinner on a Saturday night. Was about 8pm and we decided to just drive to Malacca and eat some chendol. Here goes.

I know how to get there, roughly. We can head up there someday. They are famous for chicken rice ball too. Oh yes, and i saw alot of steamboat satay. Its like loklok kind, just that u cook it yourself like steamboat style.

Haha, YES, LARD. They serve this as appetizer instead of the usual peanuts!! Of course, their Hor Fun there is superb too. But this..... speechless :O. 

Of course, after eating lots of that, we definitely need to do some exercise. Sorry Grace... we didn't inform you of the exercise regime. hahaha.

Went all the way to Desaru and couldn't find any Ramly. Finally got back to NUS and there it is. Right in our very backyard. Guess the element of surprise and excitement made it taste better.

The outlook of the stall doesn't look like it's good. But get over that and the korean food is actually pretty authentic. Kimchi Pancake is done up nicely and the bulbolgi is real tasty and and sweet too. But skip those that are already cooked and placed on a tray like economic veg rice type. Order those on the menu where they cook it on the spot and serve piping hot. 

P.S That guy there is Kai Dick.

Ba Chor Mee!! Soup has strong garlic aroma and flavour to it, making it extremely tasty! Minced meat is sufficiently soft and tender. Occasional pork lard adds crispiness to the overall texture.
